When your fingers hurt when you type, that’s a sign. In the past few weeks, I’ve done the City to Gong ($5k raised by our team – score!), done the 59km version of the Highland Son of a Bitch, copped a hideous bout of man-flu, done a couple of car launches, completed three mags via normal work and another AMB after hours just for fun, attended my first bike launch in more than twelve years… I’m sure there’s stuff in there I’ve forgotten.
Fling was a sufferfest, thanks to the onset of the cold, but not to be unexpected. Great day to be out, loads of friendly people and a nice if tough track, so in all, not to bad a way to spend the weekend.
The Norco launch was fun – nice to be talking about chainstay lengths and frame materials again! Great trails, too, at the Hidden Vale resort. Almost worth the ten-hour drive for a holiday…
Next on the schedule is the ACT BMX Titles, a great chance for Max and I to take mountain bikes for a play in the Canberra forests between BMX motos.
Too buggered to write more – hope you like the new look, and i promise to be more blog-ish.
